A picture a day | Making the impossible

On one side taking pictures is capturing reality. On the other side it’s making a new reality sometimes. Even an impossible one.

The great thing of cameras is they can do things our eyes can’t do. Like messing with reality. This picture is taken in Heusden, Netherlands late in the evening. It took almost an hour before this picture succeeded. It needed two cars, driving in the opposite direction, at almost the same time. But when this happened my camera saw something I couldn’t see. A white and red light-trail and no cars at all. For our eyes it’s impossible to make this picture. But the old D90 did.
